Vancouver
Today you will visit Vancouver Landmarks – Canada Place, Canada’s largest urban natural park – Stanley Park, Vancouver’s origins – Gastown, where you can listen to the long whistles of the antique steam clocks. Then, head to the world-famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, and finally, enjoy shopping on the bustling Robson Street. Vancouver is the largest city on the west coast of Canada and the third largest city in Canada, facing the sea with a backdrop of snowy mountains. With its extremely beautiful scenery, it has been named the World’s Most Livable City many times. It is also a world-famous tourist attraction.
Vancouver – Victoria
Depart early in the morning and take the BC ferry through the beautiful Georgia Strait to Vancouver Island, the largest island on Canada’s west coast. The area of Vancouver Island is equivalent to 90% of Taiwan. Victoria, the capital of BC, is located on the southernmost part of the island.
You will visit the 100-year-old Victorian Parliament Building (exterior), the magnificent Empress Hotel, then stroll through the docks and nostalgic old streets. Visit the British-style Victoria Inner Harbor Tourist Area, and enjoy the view of the snow-capped mountains of the famous Olympia National Park in the United States from the Victoria seaside. Afterwards, head to Oak Bay, east of the city center. This is the scenic upper-class residential area on Vancouver Island.
Finally, drive to the famous private garden Butchart Garden. Butchart Gardens was originally an abandoned stone quarry that provided raw materials for cement plants. Butchart and his wife collected rare plants from all over the world and planted them here to develop a garden. It is now the most beautiful and peaceful place in Victoria, a fairyland on earth.
In the evening, take the ferry back to Vancouver.
Vancouver – Kamloops
Early in the morning, depart from Vancouver. Drive along the Trans-Canada Highway, , which traverses the country from coast to coast. cross the Fraser River, pass through the lowland plains of B.C., and view the idyllic pastoral landscape. We will visit Bride Veil Falls on the way and arrive at inland city Kamloops, BC in the afternoon.
Located in BC’s the semi-desert region, Kamloops was an early fur-trading station for Indigenous peoples and European settlers. Now, it’s known for its abundant ginseng crop. In Kamloops, you will be able to visit North America’s most famous ginseng farm and see how ginseng plants are cultivated and harvested at every stage of its life cycle. Overnight in Kamloops.
Kamloops – Jasper – Banff
After breakfast, enter Jasper National Park and visit the magnificent cliff waterfall – Athabasca Falls, which has been cut by glaciers and snow for thousands of years. Then, take the Columbia Icefield Snow Coach, and step on the 300-meter Athabasca Glacier to witness the wonders of the 10,000-year glacial confluence.
In the afternoon, enter the world’s most scenic highway 93 – Icefield Parkway, and visit the beautiful Peyto Lake. After that, we will enter the famous Banff National Park. Pass the landmark “Castle Mountain,” arrive in town in the afternoon, and take the Sulphur Mountain sightseeing zipline to the top of the mountain with a panoramic view of Banff. After going down the mountain, you can enjoy shopping on Banff Street. In the evening, you can also take a dip in the Upper Hot Springs at Banff Hill and enjoy the natural hot springs.
Banff – Okanagan
Wake up to the beautiful national park scenery in the morning. After breakfast, we will visit the famous Bow Falls, where the Marilyn Monroe movie “River of No Return” was filmed. Then arrive at the beautiful gem of the Rocky Mountains, the Mona Lisa in the mountain – Lake Louise, to see the magnificent view of the Victoria Glacier reflected in the lake. Then, go to the sapphire blue Moraine Lake, a national treasure in Canada national treasure lake that was printed on the Canadian 20 dollar 20 bill. Wenkchemna Peak is reflected in the lake, and its beauty is unparallelled.
After lunch, we will visit Yoho National Park, which is an integral part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site, and the best-preserved ecological reserve in the world. The secluded and wide Emerald Lake is a beautiful spot enclosed by various mountains. Here, you can also visit the “Spiral Tunnels,” which pair feats of railway engineering with the wonders of natural stone bridges.
In the afternoon, we will enter Glacier National Park. Roger’s Pass, in the center of the park, is the highest point surrounded by mountains. After that, we will visit the “Last Spike”, which marks the completion of the railway, to have a deeper understanding of the hardships experienced by early Chinese Canadians.
Then, we will drive to the home of the legendary water monster Ogopogo – Okanagan Lake in the province of BC’s notable winery area, the Okanagan. Overnight in Kelowna, the capital of the Okanagan.
Okanagan – Vancouver
After breakfast, we will first visit BC’s famous fruit and wine region in Kelowna. You will have the opportunity to visit the most famous VQA winery on the shores of Lake Okanagan. Under the guidance of professional winemakers, taste different varieties of white wine, red wine, and the unique ice wine.
Afterwards, we will set foot back to Vancouver through the Fraser Valley. Don’t miss the sight of rock climbers searching for the marble rock. We will also stop in the town of Hope, where the film “First Blood” was filmed. In the evening, return to Vancouver.
